Why WoodenHill ?
- I came on training myself at 14 and loved it, it bought me out of my shell and made me feel proud of who I am and what I do. It made me realise I have a voice but more importantly I have an opinion and feelings and those should be taken seriously. I am a person, I may not of been an adult at that time but I learnt we are all human and we all should be treated equal. Why does it matter what sex we are, religion or age.. whether I like to walk and you like to run. At Woodenhill we work together as a team with young vulnerable people right up to fully qualified professionals and we run training days TOGETHER which we know help others to learn to respect each other. Wooden Hill helped me be who I am today and I am really grateful for that, now it’s my turn to give that back to other young people :-) xx
