Acting Up... Taking the fear out of role play Hands up if during training sessions the words "role play" strike fear and dread into your heart. You are not alone. Here at The Hill we have developed a solution which is proving to be very successful without losing the positive impact role play can have during training. |
| With a pool of professionally trained, locally based actors to call on we run sessions where participants become directors while the actors do the role play. This takes pressure off participants having to perform in front of their peers but incorporates the chance to explore their individual communication styles and have experience of dealing with real people in a safe environment where they can also get valuable feedback. |
| If you are interested in learning more about this way of working, contact cally@woodenhilluk.co.uk we can cover anything from customer service skills to dealing with challenging behaviour and because the session will be tailor made to suit your group you can be very specific about what you want participants to cover. |

| Health Trainer Champions Comments September 2009 ' I really liked the actors acting out the scenarios and us observing. This brought out different things that I hadn't thought about. All in all I am a lot more confident and ready to meet clients. Thank you very much...' ' It was very, very, very nice I learnt a lot. I'm feeling more comfortable now...' |
