Hi, my name is Cally and I’m a director of Wooden Hill UK. I have many roles but one of my favourite is dealing with projects that involve employing actors, writers and directors which keeps me very busy and very happy. I am also very involved in the work we do with young trainers which I think is one of the most important aspects of Wooden Hill. I do a lot of networking and attend a lot of meetings, I also get very obsessive about recycling and keeping the office clean and tidy and I shout at people when the washing up hasn’t been done. I have been working as an actor and theatre director for over 13 years and it is great to be able to combine those skills and experience with running a business. One of best things about my job is being able to offer work to local actors and theatre practitioners and to give opportunities to people at the start of their career in the arts.
