Drugs Empty Shell Empty shell is a piece surrounding drug use and more specifically drug use within a social context. By that we mean friends taking drugs together and how that affects them individually. Originally this piece was commissioned for an Upper School to use as part of their PSHE programme, we wanted something designed not to preach at young people but rather to inform them around the subject and highlight the possible dangers of taking drugs. one has a different story to tell. Some stop taking drugs as the play continues, some continue to use and progressively take stronger and stronger drugs. This is to show that many people who use may stop eventually but there are a number of those who continue until they reach a crisis. |
