Feeling Good

Feeling Good is a piece of theatre aimed at 13 to 16 year olds looking at friendships, relationships and how not to let life as a teenager make your head explode!

Commissioned by Children and Adolescent Mental Health Services to fit in with schools Personal and Social Development work, Feeling Good aims to promote “Be Healthy” from a positive well-being point of view.

Anxiety, anger, depression, low level bullying and coping with shifting social situations can be massive challenges for young people ill-equipped to deal with them.  This show provides practical ideas for coping as well as highlighting the support networks in place for young people.

Written by Lizzie Thomas and directed by Cally Lawrence the cast, all Bedfordshire based professional actors, had a lot of fun recalling their own school day experiences and comparing them to what teenagers are experiencing today. Lizzie also penned the spin off Soap Bubble aimed at younger children which recently toured lower and middle schools in Bedford Borough.
