I have recently qualified as a youth and community worker, during my course I worked with Wooden Hill as a full time placement, and now I have a full time job here. I work with the young trainers to make sure they get regular opportunities for training and delivery and when we have new young people approach us I set up new groups and deliver their training with the help of the WH team. The training gives young people all the skills, knowledge and practice they need to work with Wooden Hill as a young trainer, they can even get a qualification if they want to! I also work on the delivery team which means going out and delivering various projects to young people and professionals and other members of the community. Now that I am full time I also lead on projects which I am loving. J I like to try and help out with everything so I have a fairly good understanding of most of what is going on here and I am happy to speak to anyone about what we do in more detail.
