My name is Laura Clarke - I'm a director of Wooden Hill UK and I also run the Wooden Hill office down South. I design and deliver training to local organisations. These range from presentation skills for young people to Equalities and Diversity training for council staff. I have a background in acting and directing and still perform now. Some of the places I have worked include the London Fringe, Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre, National tours and the USA. I have run a youth theatre in Hastings, I perform in a physical theatre group and act in a local outdoor theatre company. Other jobs I have had include painting t shirts on a beach in Greece, owner of a sandwich bar at the end of Brighton Pier and managing a technical support department for a software company. I have also been a co-ordinator for a buddy scheme for young people with disabilities, worked in the offices of 'The Bill' ( that’s the TV series not the actual Police) worked as befriender for young people and sold double glazing. I have been facilitating training for the last 8 years to people of all ages and backgrounds and I love it. If you are interested in finding out more about the work we are doing in the South East please contact me on laura@woodenhilluk.co.uk |
